Scanning
Over the past 10 years, Pioneer has endeavored to have the most current and advanced scanning
technology. In recent years, scanning from "bubble marks"
has been supplemented by image- and character-recognition
systems.
With Eyes and Hands software, we can
perform image scanning in-house. This gives our scanner the ability to
"interpret" letters and numbers as they appear on your
survey. Most paper surveys with only slight modifications are
adaptable to image scanning. In addition, commonly used paper
sizes and inks are compatible with our scanning system.
Image scanning provides three benefits to our
clients:
- Turn-around time is improved
- Accuracy is increased over manual data entry
- Scanning costs are lower than manual data entry
When you compare the time and cost savings over
manual data entry, it makes "cents" to consider our image
scanning process.
